Fake Indian Currency Notes Recovered In Murshidabad


English Bazar: Fake Indian currency notes of Rs 2000 denomination with face value of Rs 7 lakh was recovered from a fake currency smuggler in Murshidabad’s Farakka.

Acting on a tip off, Police in Murshidabad’s Farakka ran a special operation in the area on Monday and held when they were trying to collect the fake notes.

The cops recovered fake Rs 2000 notes of the face value of Rs 7 lakh wrapped in plastic packets after searching the area.
