Factional Feud Turned Violent In Mahisbathan


Kolkata: A meeting between BJP leader Mukul Roy and Bidhannagar mayor Sabyasachi Dutta at the latter’s residence has fueled speculation that the TMC leader might cross over to the saffron party ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.Mamata already called for urged meeting on Sunday.

In that time, gunshots heard on Saturday night at Minati Sangha Club in Mahisbathan where two rival groups of TMC  got engaged in clash. Sources also added that the rival groups are the lobby of Sujit Basu and Sabyasachi Dutta. The clash latter turned violent.

Electronics complex police reached at the spot but not yet confirmed the news. According to spectators ten rounds of bullets fired in that incident. Five people were injured in this incident. they sent to the local hospital.

Sujit Basu’s close aide Jaydeb Naskar has been accused of to create clash against Bidhannagar Councilor Khitish Mandal, who is known as a close aide of Sabyasachi Dutta. According to a section of the grassroots, the club is run by Sabyasachi Dutta. There is no news of arrest till midnight.
