Explosion Hits Polio Center in Pakistan, 14 Killed


Islamabad: At least 14 people, most of them police personnel, were martyred and several others sustained injuries in a roadside bomb attack in Quetta’s Satellite Town on Wednesday morning.

Rescue sources said, the blast took place near police van infront of anti-polio centre in the area. The injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta, where emergency has been declared, rescue sources said.

The condition of eight is said to be critical. Two police vehicles were damaged in the explosion. The nature of the blast is not yet known.
