Explosion At BJP Leader House In West Midnapore


West Midnapore: In a sudden incident, an explosion took place soon after the announcement of Lok Sabha detailed schedule in Belda of West Midnapore on Sunday evening. It took place at the house of local resident Bhaganban Khankari. Another person named Dhirendranath Jana has also been injured in the same incident.

Police has detained the owner of the house which has sparked tension in the locality. The locals informed that, the intensity of the blast was so strong that the adjacent door and window of the house got cracked. A part of the house has demolished in the incident. Dhirendranath Jana has admitted to Belda Rural Hospital. The reason of the explosion is still not clear.

Officer-in-charge of Belda police station informed that, owner of the house Bhagoban Khankari is involved with BJP whose son Debabrata Khankari has involvement with ruling party Trinamool. The material used in the explosion will undergo a probe. Preliminarily, police saying that the incident took place out of firecracker material explosion as the Khankari family is involved in this business. Huge amount of material were stagged in his house. Police initiated an investigation.

Few days back, a Trinamool party office of Naratangarh area was blasted which claimed one life on spot. The incident in Ganguria village of Belda area has sparked panic among the residents of the area.
