Mumbai: The Indian Premier League is always known to have it’s glamour quotient high. Adding spice to cricket, the ‘hatke’ factor of this year’s IPL is the inclusion of women commentators in the com-box. The cash-rich event has heavily depended and continues to depend on cheer-girls to perk up the atmosphere around. Besides, it also endeavors to have the top actors and actresses in the opening ceremonies of every edition.
But this time, the officials have decided to involve the ladies in yet another way. The people will get to hear the voice of the eves when they hear the commentary for an ongoing match. Women ambassadors will be seated at the com box to add fuel to the style quotient of the Million Dollar Tournament. According to the official IPL website, the list includes Anjum Chopra, Isa Guha, Lisa Sthaleker and Melanie Jones. These former players will be joining a 26-member commentary team for the fancied event that is scheduled to kick-off from Wednesday.
