Kolkata: The entrance examination chaos in Jadavpur University is hanging in the middle to get resolved. A meeting of executive council to take place on Tuesday at around 2 pm.
Reportedly, Jadavpur University Teachers Association (JUTA) will stick to their points which has been raised on June 27 regarding the admission test. Assistant secretary of JUTA Parthpratim Roy said, “We will stick to the decision of June 27 and we don’t agree with July 4 decision.”
Simultaneously, chancellor and governor Kesharinath Tripathi has advised to lift the strike and gave charge to the executive council for taking decision.
Education minister Partha Chatterjee said to leave the hunger strike. On the other hand, ABUTA or All Bengal Teachers Association has expressed anxiety over the situation.
