English Cricketer ‘glassed’ after Bar-Brawl

London: Jos Buttler was stunned after one of his team-mates was hit by a glass at a bar on Saturday Night. Liam Livingstone, 22, was hit in the face as Lancashire toasted their quarter-final win over the Kent Spitfires in the Natwest T20 Blast. The nasty incident was the result of a brawl, added Jos. Jos said to be “shocked” after witnessing the assault which left all-rounder Liam with “blood pouring down his face”.

The players were enjoying a victory drink when the brawl broke out at The Auction House Bar, in Ashford, Kent, just before midnight on Saturday. It is understood one of the players accidentally knocked into a man standing nearby.Witnesses say the player apologised immediately but the other man took offence. Several members of the team became involved in a scrum, with punches and glasses thrown before bouncers stepped in and took people outside.
