Encounter Between Security Forces And Terrorists Underway


Srinagar: An encounter between security forces and terrorists is underway in Jammu and Kashmir’s Palhalan village near the town of Pattan in Baramulla’s district.

As per initial reports, the area has been cordoned off and a search operation is underway to nab the terrorists. On February 12, an encounter broke out at the 23 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp in Srinagar’s Karan Nagar.

Earlier this month, terrorists stormed the Sunjwan army camp in Jammu, killing five security personnel and one civilian. Six army personnel and six civilians got injured.
