Update: Two militants were killed in an overnight gunbattle with security forces in a village in Pulwama district of south Kashmir.

According to reports, as the security forces were closing in on the target house, the militants opened firing. The security forces returned the fire, triggering the encounter which was going on till last reports came in, the official said adding there were no reports of any casualties on either side so far.
