Eight injured in Bihar Acid attack


Patna: With the increasing number of acid attacks in the country, eight persons including two women were injured when acid was thrown upon them by a group of villagers at Narhaghav following a petty quarrel.

According to Police, The incident occurred when eight persons who were cutting grass near Sitamarhi Milk Producer’s Co-operative building, quarreled with a group of villagers on Friday night.

The injured were rushed to Primary health Centre at Riga but were later referred to Sitamarhi Sadar Hospital as their conditions deteriorated. Raids are on to arrest the accused and FIR has been logged against three villagers.
