New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate has recorded the statement of Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in connection with the seizure of1.24 lakh dollar from him and his associates at Delhi airport in 2011. The statement, according to ED sources will help to probe into alleged violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), which deals with civil offences.

The Pakistani Singer and his 16-member troupe were detained by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence after they were allegedly found carrying the afore mentioned amount of dollar against the FEMA rules.
