EB washes away Amutu-rumour, MB ropes in Balmuchu


Kolkata: East Bengal have started assembling their squad for the 2015-16 and they want to make it big this time. After roping in Mumbai FC’s defender Rahul Bheke and Salgaocar’s midfielder Bikash Jairu and almost confirming the pay package with Kin Dong-Hyun, the Korean footballer who had caught many sights with his speed in the inaugural edition of ISL for North East United FC. But the main surprise comes after Austin Amutu, a 23 year old Nigerian said on his facebook page that the East Bengal officials have approached him for the next season. But such a develpoment was washed away Debabrata Sarkar, an official of the East Bengal Club.

I League Champions Mohun Bagan, on the other hand has confirmed the service of Sanjay Balmuchu,a Tata Football Academy (TFA) graduate, who represented Mohammedan Sporting in the I-League second division last season. According to the latest club source, Haitian Forward, Sony Norde will be signing the dotted lines of Bagan on the first week of July.
