Earthquake strikes again in Kolkata, Metro Services disrupted


Kolkata: After Saturday earthquake strikes again in Kolkata on Sunday. The earthquake measuring 6.9 struck Kolkata once again resulting in panic throughout the city. Metro Services were disrupted due to the earthquake and the passengers were taken out to safety.

No casualities have been reported yet. Along with Kolkata, the districts also felt the tremors of the earthquake with North Bengal facing the tremors to a huge extent. Like yesterday, the people have come out on the streets out of anxiety and fear. The operations of Dumdum airport has been stopped due to the earthquake.

In Siliguri a cracks have occurred in multi-storied buildings. In Kolkata too cracks were noticed in several buildings following the earthquake. GC Debnath, the chief of Kolkata meterological centre has said that some more aftershocks may be felt in the next 24 hours.
