Duncan Group in a Meeting with Mamata Banerjee

Kolkata: Pressurized with the constant death of its workers, Duncan has vowed to pay the pending money to its workers at a meeting with chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday. According to Duncan Group Officials, they will open a langar khana( free distribution of food) for its workers. Besides that they will keep the tea gardens closed during winter.

Earlier it was reported that Duncan had already paid the pending money to its worker. But the workers had gheraod the tea garden claiming that it was false. Later when Duncan tea garden’s manager promised to repay the pending money, again there was a gherao.
