Dog Remark: VK Singh Faces Protest in Kolkata

Kolkata: Former Army chief and Union Minister VK Singh on Sunday faced protest at Dum Dum airport for his dog remark. The protest was staged by CPM. Singh was shown black flags as he came out of the airport.

Singh who had apologized for his remark seemed to have still being haunted by the political groups to exploit the situation.

Tension gripped Haryana last Monday as two Dalit children were burnt alive by alleged upper caste people. As NDA faced criticism over the incident, Singh in a bid to defend the govt. had said, “You can’t blame every thing on the government, if a dog is stoned will the government be held liable?”
