Kolkata: Mumbai Indians (MI) will host Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday. Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians have already qualified for the playoffs after they defeated Sunrisers Hydearbad in the super-over thriller. RCB have already defeated SRH on saturday. So Now KKR have to win the match against MI and seal the play-offs.
Kolkata Knight Riders will keep no stone un-turned as they take on Mumbai Indians with a prayer on their lips in a must-win Indian Premier League game on Sunday.Now if Knight Riders defeat Mumbai by a big margin and then they have a chance to make it to the IPL playoffs 2019.
For Mumbai, Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock have been scoring runs at the top and Suryakumar Yadav is a dependable batsman at the third place. Evin Lewis can take the charge but the batsman looked feeble in front of KKR bowling attack in their previous match. KKR must be chalking out plans to get rid of Hardik Pandya, who is brutal with the bat and the dangerous Kieron Pollard.
With the Wankhede track aiding slow bowlers, KKR may also be tempted to play chinaman Kuldeep Yadav, who has been dumped because of poor form.
