Chennai: Tamil Nadu continues to be on the boil a day after VK Sasikala loyalist Edappadi K Palaniswami won a violence-marred trust vote with a majority of 122 MLAs.
The DMK, whose members were evicted from the Assembly before the vote, had called for a state-wide hunger strike on February 22. Former CM O Panneerselvam is also scheduled to meet Governor Vidyasagar Rao today.

Tamil Nadu chief minister Edappadi Palaniswami met Governor Vidyasagar Rao. Meanwhile, a FIR has been filed against DMK working president M K Stalin, his party MLAs, MPs and cadres for holding a protest at Marina beach against the alleged attack on him and his MLAs during the trust vote in the Assembly.
