Kolkata: The Calcutta High Court on Friday asked Narada CEO Matthew Samuel to file an affidavit by November 2 giving an elaborate picture of the Narada sting in which many of the heavy-weight TMC leaders were shown taking ‘bribe’.
The court said that the images that has been potrayed by the Narada videos do not show the picture in its entireity. As a result, it is impossible to provide verdict over such unclear concept.
The advocate general of the state had already termed that the documents provided via laptop and i-phone did not properly say things clearly.
The High Court has asked Matthew Samuel to submit the background before conducting the Narada sting operation, by November 2. HC said that the videos showing a person accepting money is the climax of a story and not a complete story. So until and unless all the entire story is revealed, it cannot be determined whether an investigation is required.
