Dhoni’s journey from the small lanes in Ranchi to being India’s most successful cricket captain was highlighted in the recent bollywood biopic MS Dhoni: The untold story. The film is being loved by millions and has been declared a blockbuster hit.
Kohli’s mother has raised her son almost single-handedly as her husband had passed away when Kohli was in his early teens, while Rahane also comes from a humble background. The hard work, patience and dedication of their parents is the major reason behind their success today. Kohli has already broken several records in a short span of time as India’s Test captain with Rahane as his deputy.
The Men in Blue are currently involved in a ODI series against New Zealand and won the first match at Dharamsala by a comfortable margin on Sunday. Kohli starred in the match and top-scored for India with an unbeaten 85. The commercial is divided into three segments starting with Dhoni. Captain Cool says, “Itne dino se main apne pita ka naam pehen raha, tab to aap ne kabhi nahi poocha ki koi khaas wajah?,” when asked by a reporter on why he is wearing his mother’s name on the back of his jersey.
