Dengue Claims Another Life, Death Toll Rises To 30


Kolkata: Dengue claims another life from the city taking the death toll to 30 on the wee hours on Saturday after a child died at the Bidhan Chandra Roy Children Hospital.

A child died today at the B.C. Roy Hospital in Phoolbagan. The baby was a resident near the Beleghata Subhas Sarobar. The baby’s family , though, has accused the hospital for its death for alleged negligence. The family members had spread panic in the hospital area due to this incident.

This deadly disease is slowly gripping its hold on the Kolkata citizens slowly and gradually. A few days ago, 2 deaths from dengue were reported just near Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s house. Though, no official authorities claimed their deaths to be from dengue. It was claimed that they died from an unknown fever.
