Delhi Metro to go Driverless soon


New Delhi: Driverless metro will be introduced in Delhi metro. No separate cabin for driver will be present in the metro. The passengers will be able to enter any of the compartments. One has to wait for just a few days to avail the facility. The metros which will be running in the phase three will be equipped with the facility. The metro will be equipped with latest coach and signaling system.

The metro authorities have said that the interval between two trains will be reduced due to this. To stop the incidents of suicide screen door will be introduced in all the 68 metro stations.

In the new trains, 240 people can sit in the six coaches. No additional coach will be there for the driver. The work of the implementation of the new technology has finished by 60 percent. The trains will also run at a much higher speed than before.
