Delhi: The Delhi High Court is on high alert after a bomb threat was received earlier this morning. The Police Control Room received a call from north east Delhi saying the High Court will be blown up.
Officials from the bomb squad and the fire department were rushed to the spot. A SWAT team has also been sent to the court premises.
Security forces are thoroughly searching the court premises. While the call has been traced to a numbger in western Uttar Pradesh, police are trying to trace the person who called the PCR from north east Delhi’s Bhajanpura. In 2011, a blast at the Delhi High Court killed 11 people and injured over 80.
