‘Dabangg girl’ launches BMW 6 series at IBFW


New Delhi:  The seventh edition of India Bridal Fashion Week 2015 (IBFW) with brand ambassador Sonakshi Sinha, kick-started on Friday in New Delhi. Measuring a length of 5007mm, width of 1894mm and height of 1392mm, the new BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe receives a host of exterior changes that include a new kidney grille, new bumpers and multi spoke alloy wheels while new LED multi beam lamps are also evident along with aerodynamic side mirrors with integrated indicators and new LED fog lamps. Interiors sport similar arrangement and features as seen on its earlier model but receives a dual toned interior with Head-up display unit.

2015 BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe is to be offered in Alpine White non-metallic and a total of 9 metallic colours of Black Sapphire, Cashmere Silver, Glacier Silver, Space Grey, Jatoba, Melbourne Red, Mediterranean Blue, and Mineral White.

It will be powered by the same 3.0 liter, 6 cylinder, in-line diesel engine offering 313 bhp peak power at 4,400 rpm and 630 Nm torque between 1,500 and 2,500 rpm, mated to an 8 speed dual clutch automatic transmission. This engine allows the new 6 Series Gran Coupe to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 250 kmph. xDrive all wheel drive system is a standard feature on board this new 6 Series Gran Coupe.

2015 BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe comes into India via the CBU route and competes with the new Mercedes-Benz CLS250 CDI in India.
