CPM’s Long March As Per Doctor’s Advice, Anubrata Mocks

Rampurhat: TMC Birbhum district president Anubrata Mondal harshly criticised and
mocked the CPM party for their ‘long-march.’

Addressing a press meet at his party office, Anubrata said that the doctors are
prescribing for walks, so the CPM leaders will walk. On September 30, several
affiliate parties along with CPM will walk from different parts of the district.
They will take part in a 200-km long-march. The march will end at Siuri on October
2. After that, a programme will be held by CPM state secretary Surya Kanta Mishra
at the Siuri district school premises.

On this, the TMC president said, “Doctors have asked Biman Basu, Surya Kanta Mishra
to walk. So they are walking. If they just walk then people will call them mad, so
they are planning programmes and walking.”

Carrying on with the attacks, Anubrata said, “It is their matter that the will
walk, or sleep and move or crawl. There are many garages in the high road. Burnt
mobile is available in them. So they will not face any problem.”
