Siliguri: CPM to visit North Bengal development department on 20th January demanding the punishment of the accused in corruption case of 200 crores and reopening of all closed tea gardens in north Bengal, announced CPM leader cum Siliguri Municipality mayor Ashok Bhattacharya on Saturday at Anil Biswas bhavan in Siliguri. As the assembly elections are nearing the CPM is gearing up with more and more mission everyday.
Speaking at the bhavan, Ashok Bhattacharya said that, we are inviting people to join our mission from 7 assemblies across Siliguri. Every day people are dying at the tea gardens, but state government is not taking any step. Not only this but many leaders of the ruling party are associated with SJDA’s 200 crore corruption case. They are trying to cover up the case.
