Former chief minister is 72 years old but only his unstable physical condition worrying the left front. Party wants to keep Buddhadeb Bhattacharya as a coalition leader for his years long master advice before panchayat and loksabha election. On the first day of committee meeting he came putting oxygen mask on his face, urged to leave party responsibility.
Second day of state committee meeting has confirmed that party is desperate to keep ‘old’ Buddhadeb. Rather, Sitaram Yechury, General Secretary of CPM is specially hoping for support on all party-issue. If there is any chance of alliance that will be clear before the panchayat election. As West Bengal left front is assertive to ally with congress so the Alimuddin people do not want to leave Buddhadeb so soon.
