Courts defer Madan Mitra’s plea(s)

Kolkata: The hearing of Madan Mitra’s case whether it will be held on High Court has been deferred to Thursday. According to the sources, the hearing was not completed on Wednesday.  As the hearing could not be completed, the case has been deferred to Thursday. It is learnt that, the lawyers of Madan Mitra raised the question of not associating the bail plea with the other cases that has been slapped in the name of Madan Mitra. They have requested the judge to see the bail plea in a complete different light. However, the CBI lawyers have opposed the request stating substantial facts.

On the other hand, the bail plea of Madan Mitra at the Alipore District and Sessions’ Court has also been deferred. The next hearing of the bail plea will be held on May 15, according to Court sources.
