Court summons Salman in Arms Act case

Jodhpur: The Jodhpur court summoned Salman Khan to appear before it on April 23 in connection to the Arms Act case on Friday.

The Arms Act case against Salman is an offshoot of the Blackbuck poaching incident 16 years ago near Jodhpur. He was in the area along with his colleagues to shoot for Barjatya’s ‘Hum Saath-Saath Hain’ in 1998.

Two blackbucks, a protected animal under the Wildlife Protection Act, were killed on the outskirts of Kankani village near Jodhpur.

The star was also accused of carrying and using illegal arms. He is also alleged to have been carrying arms with expired license.
