New Delhi: The Delhi session court Thursday rejected former Delhi law minister Jitender Singh Tomar’s bail plea challenging his arrest in the alleged fake degree case. Court rejected interim bail saying it will further ‘complicate’ the matter in the present circumstances.
Court also dismissed Tomar’s plea challenging his police remand in the case but granted him liberty to file a fresh plea. The court has deferred the hearing in the case till 16th June. In an application filed before the sessions court, Tomar had on Wednesday alleged that police had arrested him yesterday in violation of prescribed procedure under the law.
