Congress To Hold Protest On 2 Years Of Demonitization


Kolkata: All India Congress Committee, in a notice said that national leadership will hold protest on the two years completion of Demonetization. Following that agenda, on November 9, Bengal Congress will be protesting in front of district administration building.

As per the party decision, Pradesh Congress workers will hold protest on November 9 in every district. The party members will protest from 11 PM to 1 PM in front of the main district administration building. There is a chance that people may gather in front of Reserve Bank Of India (RBI) in Kolkata.

In 2016, Prime Minister Narendra Modi suddenly announced note ban to curb black money and weed out fake notes and proscribe terror funding by inactivated Rs 500 and 1000 notes from midnight November 8. The outcome of the decision witnessed several consequences which has troubled crore people. All the anti-parties has protested against the decision.

Congress is gearing up to highlight note ban as a failure and organised bluff to the entire nation. The party will demonstrate two years old issue with vivid and versatile demonstration of several incidents. The middle class are the sufferer of that decision. Congress asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to be apologize to the nation for demonetization which has wrecked the economy.
