Congress leaders remanded to JC for murdering TMC worker


Murshidabad: Two Congress leaders accused of murdering a Trinamool supporter were remanded to four days of Jail Custody  by Kandi sub divisional court. The accused named Gurucharan Manjhi and Nowsat Sheikh were arrested from Salar bus stand on Saturday.

It has been alleged that on April 28 the two congress leaders bombed and killed Kagram resident Rabi Sheikh (35). The family of the deceased lodged a written complaint at Salar police station against the accused duo.

District Congress Secretary Partha Pratim Sarkar said that the congress workers are being framed by the ruling party.
