Cong to showcause MPs over absence from Parliament


New Delhi: Despite the opposition of the Congress, the Mining bill and Coal bill was passed in the Rajya Sabha. The Rajya Sabha passed the despite the huge opposition by the congress. After that the party has decided that it may showcause the congress MPs.

According to sources, during the voting procedure of the Congress, ten MPs were absent. The party is thinking of seeking an explanation from them. Friday was the last day of the session.

The congress MPs had urged to send the bill to the select committee instead of passing it. But the bill was passed with the support of the other parties in the Parliament.
