Kolkata: A complaint has been lodged against senior BJP leader Mukul Roy at Purulia’s Balarampur police station. According to administrative sources, the case has been filed by Purulia’s District Magistrate Alokesh Prasad Roy.
After hearing the news and then inspecting the complaint copy, Mukul Roy himself boarded a Delhi-bound flight.
Roy boarded the flight on Thursday regarding some work related to the state BJP selection committee chairman party organisation. But before landing in Delhi, he received the news.
It has been mentioned in the complaint that on October 2, Mukul in district’s Sarai maidan programme, insulted the DM and also threatened him. A CD of Mukul’s statements was also submitted along with the complaint.
According to the administration, Mukul has threatened to stall the progress of the DM.
He also attacked CM Mamata Banerjee and her government. He also attacked the DM.
