TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee was involved in a financial scandal exposed by TV channel Times Now on Monday. WB CM mamata banerjee too was involved in this scandal. Mamata Banerjee’s nephew, Abhishek Banerjee’s company Leaps and Bounds Private Limited received payments from a realtor called Raj Kishore Modi. Modi is under investigation for criminal activities including land grabbing and attempt to murder. Times Now claimed that they have many documents related to the financial transaction.
As per Times Now Report, Raj Kishore Modi invested more than a crore in Abhishek Banerjee’s company. When the commission was paid, Abhishek Banerjee was still listed as a director in the company. Ironically, it was Mamata Banerjee who had staged a spirited protest in 2009 demanding the arrest of Raj Lishore Modi in connection with the above allegations.
Times Now Documents showed that in 2012 and 2013, the two were bound by a chartered accountant called Ashok Tulsiyan. This individual is not just a director in Raj Kishore Modi’s company Green Tech City Pvt Ltd but he is also shown as the auditor of Abhishek Banerjee’s company Leaps and Bounds.

Unfortunately for Mamata Banerjee, the directors of her nephew’s company, which include his wife, are shown to be staying at the CM’s residence in Kolkata. Interestingly, Abhishek Banerjee was also residing at Mamata’s chief ministerial residence till he became a Member of Parliament.
