CM urges oppositions not to attach politics with the flood


Howrah: In order to distribute relief materials to the flood hit victims of West Bengal, CM Mamata Banerjee made a visit to to the Ashoknagar area of Howrah on Monday. After the distribution of relief aids, Mamata urged her oppositions not to associate any kind of politics with the action. On Monday Mamata Banerjee gave out relief materials to 300 families who have seriously been hit by the flood. However, the local former Congres MLA, Satya Sebi Kar has seen the incident as CM's tendency to get the spot light.

The CM had herself stayed awake at Nabanna last night in order to get the flood situation under control. Some of the ministers have also been sent to some of the flood hit areas to stand by the local administration and people. o far 50 people have died due to the torrential rain and flood in West Bengal, with the southern part taking the worst blow. Army has been roped in to help in relief and rescue works.
