CM Mamata Strongly Condemns Dhola Incident

Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee strongly condemned the killing of innocent people near Dhola in Tinsukia district by unidentified miscreants today evening.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wondered whether the attack was a fallout of the recent National Register of Citizens exercise in Assam. The TMC supremo also said that the perpetrators should be brought to book at the earliest.

“We strongly condemn the brutal attack in Tinsukia and the killing of Shyamlal Biswas, Ananta Biswas, Abhinash Biswas, Subodh Das and Dhananjay Namashudra. Is this the outcome of recent NRC development? We have no words to express our deep sorrow to the grieving families. The perpetrators must be punished at the very earliest,” she tweeted.
