CM Mamata Promises To Stay By East Bengal Club


Kolkata: The East Bengal club celebrated their birth anniversary on Monday just like it does every year. This day, August 1 is the club’s historic day, as it was founded on this day. The East Bengal club stepped into its 97th birthday. Several eminent personalities were invited to the club to mark this historic day. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was also invited as the chief guest. Mamata Banerjee praised the club and their football. She also thanked the club for publishing postal stamp.

Three more years to be waited, for the club’s, 100th birth anniversary. The club officials had already begun their preparation for their 100th celebration. The state government has promised to lend all supports in this matter in 2019.
