Citing fatigue, India calls off Zimbabwe tour


Mumbai: After being humiliated in the hands of Bangladesh in the ODI series, the Indian team has called of the Zimbabwe Tour. India was scheduled to tour Zimbabwe on July 10 and play 3 ODIs and 2 T20 games according to the schedule. But as per latest developments, it is heard that India will not be going to Zimbabwe citing reasons of tiredness and fatigue. The decision of not touring Zimbabwe however comes as a shock to the cricket fraternity. In many corners of the country such questions have also been raised that the team is ready to play the lengthy IPL and when it comes to international duty, the instances of fatigue is brought up. Some also feel that India should have played against the Zimbabwean team to regain some of the lost prestige that Dhoni and his boys had suffered in the hands of Bangladesh.
