Chinese Troops Saying ‘China-Pak Dosti Zindabad’ In Urdu

Islamabad: A 90-member Chinese contingent arrived in Pakistan to participate in the Pakistan Day parade Monday. It will be the first time in Pakistan’s history that Chinese troops will take part in the March 23 parade.

Special feature of the parade this year will be participation of People’s Liberation Army (PLA) China’s Tri Services, Saudi Special Force’s contingents and Turkish Jannisary Military band (Mehteran).

During Sunday’s rehearsals, a contingent of the guard of honor of the three services of the Chinese Army was quite impressive, giving an excellent performance. The soldiers chanted their slogans in Urdu, which was a highlight of the military parade.

“We sincerely hope that Pakistan will progress day by day, and its army will become stronger,” said head of the Chinese contingent Major General Li Jianbo.

Amongst other dignitaries, Chief of South African National Defence Force, General Solly Zacharia SHOKE will also witness the parade.
