Beijing: Refuting allegation of Chinese army’s involvement with NSCN (K) militants in Manipur ambush, China on Wednesday termed the accusations as baseless.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hong Lei said to a news agency that, “Relevant report is completely groundless. The Chinese government consistently upholds non- interference in other country’s internal affairs, and will not support any anti-government forces in any country.”
In one of deadliest attack in decades, suspected NSCN (K) militants ambushed an army convoy and killed 20 jawans in Manipur’s Chandek districts on Thursday.
Seeking vengeance, the Indian army launched a massive hot pursuit of the ultras crossing into Myanmar and killed over 100 militants on Tuesday.
