Chad bans Burkha to counter terrorists


Ndjamena: Chad administration has banned the wearing of Burkha after terrorist attacks killed 23 people in the African country. The announcement was made after a meeting with religious leaders. It has been decided that wearing of Burkha on the streets or inside the house will be banned.

The Chad Prime Minister has blamed the Nigerian Terrorist group Boko Haram for the terror attacks of Monday. It has been observed that the terror organization is using women under the cover of Burkha to avoid detection.

The security personnel will burn Burkhas if they find them in the markets. Regional forces have also been set up to counter the terrorists.
