Centre’s Treatment To Bengal Is Step Motherly, Says Mamata

Kolkata: Reserve Bank Of India Governor met West Bengal Chief Minister on Thursday and claimed the 1 hour long meet as ‘positive’.

West Bengal Chief Minister addressed the press at Nabanna after the meeting. She said, “The meeting with RBI Governor lasted one hour. It was positive. We have placed our stand supported with fact. RBI is a big institution. I do not want to cast any aspersions on them. Thanks to their ‘Double Dhamaka’ of Demonetisation, GST is being delayed.

CM Mamata also said, “Businesses are suffering losses. Unorganised sector is under pain. We have given all facts. Even in tea sector, Bengal is getting step-motherly treatment while Assam is receiving payments. They should put up on their website all details of money sent to every State. The Parliament is not functioning. PM is not speaking to the country. This is a massacre on the country.

CM Mamata said, “I have expressed my views in Kolkata, Lucknow, Patna, Delhi. But I am not getting any response. The demonetisation announcement should have been made by the RBI Governor not the PM. People are confused. Decisions are being changed so often. They have to solve the crisis at hand themselves. RBI is a big institution. I do not want to cast any aspersions on them.”
