New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday issued notices to the Centre and others on a plea alleging large-scale irregularities in the All-India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT). The petitioners had cited alleged question paper leak in Haryana, when the exam was held on May 3.
A Bench comprising Justices AK Sikri and UU Lalit would hear the case next on May 21. The Haryana Police, three days after the entrance exam, had uncovered a paper-leak racket, which was suspected to have leaked the answer keys for the AIPMT 2015 conducted by the CBSE.
The answer key for all 90 questions had allegedly been sent through WhatsApp just before the exam. The gang had also equipped candidates with electronic devices to help them answer the questions.
Haryana Inspector General of the police Shrikant Jadhav had demanded the cancellation of the AIPMT. Four persons were arrested in the case.
However, the CBSE has claimed no such leak took place and that the sanctity of the examination was maintained.
