Celebrating With Hand Made Rakhis


Bankura: With Raksha Bandhan round the corner, students have been actively taking part in rakhi-making. So, small students of Kishor Bhanini Jatrik organisation in Barjora has no time to spend and started rakhi making.

After the school, students of class nine Suma, Preeti, Mandira, Payel are now busy with making rakhis. Kishor bhanini Jatrik organisation involved in various social services as well as in cultural activities throughout the year. This organization is also busy with social activities like dance, music, sport and bodybuilding.

Under the supervision of Manoj Mondal, a member of the organisation Executive Council, trained students to making Rakhis.Subhasis Pal, a member of the organisation, said, “There are many Rakhis available in the market. It may be a lot better than the hand made. But there is a no joy to tie rakhi brought from the market.

Tagore deftly used the concept of brotherhood, togetherness and ‘the thread of protection’.
