Ceasefire Violation Along LoC In Poonch


Jammu: Pakistani troops on Saturday violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Balakote Sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch District, prompting the Indian Army to retaliate.

It is reported that intermittent firing that started at 7.40 p.m. is still on.

Reports also said that troops of 7/11 GR deployed on India’s Dabi Forward Post, opened fire after suspected movement along the LoC.

On Saturday night, militants ambushed a police party in Kulgam killing two policemen and two civilians. However, they managed to flee.
