CBSE to reconduct AIPMT on July 25

New Delhi: The CBSE on Tuesday declared that All India Pre Medical and Dental Test (AIPMT) for admission to Medical and Dental courses for the year 2015 will be reconducted on July 25.

The decision was declared after the Supreme court granted more time to CBSE for the reconducting the examinations after the board pleaded before the apex court that it would be impossible to hold the test within four weeks.

A bench of Justice  RK Agarwal and Justice Abhay Manohar Sapre extended the time till August 17 after Attorney General Mukaul Rohatgi told the court that CBSE will need three months to reconduct the examinations citing various difficulties including the availability of 1,050 examination centres and invigilators.
