CBI sends notice to TMC Bhavan

Kolkata: As per notifications, the Central Bureau of Investigation has sent a notice to the TMC Bhavan. It is learnt that the CBI has sent the notice through a post on Monday morning. In the notice, the officers have enquired and have asked the TMC all India General secretary Subrata Bakshi to submit a detailed report of the financial statement clearly mentioning all details about the transcactions of the Trinamool Congress between 2010 and 2014.

The CBI officers have even showed their interest in the statements in connection to the selling of Mamata Banerjee’s paintings to the various buyers. The officers have also enquired about the advertisers who had given advertisements in ‘Jago Bangla’.

This is not the first time that the Central Detectives have sent a notice to the the All India Gen Secy. Previously when the officers issued a notice via e mail, (just removed from the post) Mukul Roy had said that it was not possible for him to furnish the necessary information as he is no longer in power. Hence, the inquisitive arrow of the CBI officers had turned towards Subrata Bakshi, who is in power now.

Last week, when the officers had dialled the numbers of the TMC Bhavan, Subrata Bakshi was not at the spot as he was busy in the party work. In connection to this incident, the TMC supremo, Mamata Banerjee had shown great disgust and in her personal sphere had even directed the officials to direct the phone line to her if the CBI further calls up the TMC Bhavan asking for Bakshi.
