Faridabad: CBI probe ordered into killing of two Dalit children whose house near Delhi was set on Fire on Monday. The Haryana government has accepted family’s demand for CBI probe into the killings of two dalit children in Faridabad.
The government has also agreed to give job to one member of victim’s family, BJP MP and Union minister of state for social justice and empowerment Krishan Pal said in Ballabhgarh.”We will not let injustice happen, request victim’s family to trust our government and chief minister,” the Union minister said.
According to reports, Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar cancelled his visit to the village as protests continued over the killings. Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi visited the village earlier in the day.
Earlier in the day, angry locals blocked the Delhi-Agra highway in protest demanding immediate action. Two-and-a-half-years-old Vaibhav and 11-month-old Divya were killed in Faridabad’s Sumped village after their house was set on fire allegedly by some upper caste men.
