Cameron expresses need to step up offensive against ISIS


London: British Prime Minister David Cameron said that Britain needs to step up the offensive against the Islamic State militants in Syria. He asserted on the need of a greater role by Britain in the fight against the ISIS, which has been termed as the most ferocious terrorist group in the globe.

The British leader has offered his most direct signal to date that his government will seek authorisation from Parliament to expand his country’s role in supporting the United States and other allies in attacking the militants.

Cameron said, “We have to destroy this caliphate, whether it is in Iraq or in Syria.”
