Kolkata: Voting is underway at Kolkata Corporation on Sunday for by-polls. However, the presence of voters are minimum. Hence, the votes casted are minimum too which comes as a setback for the ruling party. The oppositions are alleging that the TMC forcefully did not allow their agent to sit. They also accused the TMC of bringing the voters from their homes. Rejecting all such allegations, TMC said that voting was underway under normal situation.

The voting is underway at ward number 82. The presence of voters were very less at Chetla’s several booths.

But the picture is different at ward number 82’s Chetla Girls’ High School. It is TMC candidate and Mayor Firhad Hakim’s area’s booth. But the number of voters are more here. Questions are being raised on this itself.

The oppositions allege that the TMC of tha booth went to every house and brought the voters. They have also sent vehicles and rickshaws to them. The oppositions also alleged that they were threatened last night. Fake voters are there in the voter list.
